Service Description

PLEASE NOTE: this is just a generalised approach, each session will be run based on the unique needs of the client What could happen in this session: - You'll meet your therapist, who will explain how therapy works and what you can expect from the sessions. They'll also share a bit about themselves and their approach to therapy. - Your therapist will talk to you about confidentiality, explaining how they handle your information and when they might need to share it (for example, if someone's safety is at risk). - Your therapist will ask you some questions to get a better understanding of what's going on in your life and why you're seeking therapy. They'll want to know about your past experiences, your current situation, and any issues you're dealing with. - Together, you and your therapist will come up with some goals for therapy. These goals will help you focus on what you want to achieve and track your progress as you go along. - Your therapist will work to build a trusting relationship with you. They'll create a safe space where you can share your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. - Based on your assessment and goals, your therapist will outline a plan for your therapy. They'll discuss how often you'll meet, what you'll work on in sessions, and what techniques they might use to help you. Feel free to ask any questions you have about therapy or your therapist's approach. Your therapist is there to help, so they'll be happy to provide any information you need.


Cancellation Policy

We recognise that unforeseen circumstances can arise that may necessitate a change in your counselling session plans. To ensure the smooth operation of our services and to accommodate the needs of all our valued clients, we have refined our cancellation policy with your convenience in mind: 1. Cancellations: o Please notify us of any cancellations at least 24 hours before your scheduled counselling session to avoid incurring charges. o Cancellations made within 24 hours but outside of 12 hours from the appointment will result in a 50% charge of the session fee. o Cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled session will incur the full session fee charge. 2. Rescheduling: o Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled counselling session to avoid any charges. o Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours will incur a 50% charge of the session fee. o Rescheduling requests made within 12 hours of the scheduled session will result in a charge equivalent to the full session fee. 3. Communication Channels: o You can communicate your cancellation or rescheduling requests through email at: remotemindcounselling@outlook.com 4. Exceptional Circumstances: o We understand that emergencies can happen unexpectedly. If you find yourself in such a situation, please notify us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. 5. Late Arrivals: o Please note that arriving late for your scheduled session may result in a shortened session to avoid inconvenience to other clients. However, the full session fee will still apply. o Please try to enter the meeting 10 minutes prior to commencement. 6. Repeated Cancellations: o Clients who frequently cancel or reschedule appointments may be subject to additional terms or restrictions at the discretion of the counsellor. 7. Refund Policy: o Refunds for cancelled sessions will be issued in accordance with the terms outlined above. By scheduling a counselling session with us, you affirm that you have familiarised yourself with, understood, and agree to adhere to the terms of our cancellation policy.
